 St. Peter Youth Organizations Visits His Eminence
On Tuesday, January 11th the Youth Organization of St. Peter Church visited His Eminence for the Christmas and New Year. A group of fifteen members were warmly welcomed at the residence of His Eminence. The visit commenced with a discussion of the goal and the overall nature and scope of the organization. During the visit, the Youth asked questions about the meaning of fasting, ordination, and the expectations of being a Youth in today's world. His Eminence told the Youth to attend church always and make the teachings of the Syriac Church an essential part of their lives, learning and growth. During the interactive conversation he emphasized on the role of the church in helping those who seek guidance.
 
  
It was a very enjoyable and informative time spent with His Eminence. The Youth also expressed their thoughts and had plenty of good laughs with His Eminence. They were very appreciative of the delicious sweets that they enjoyed and the time that was spent together.
The Youth presented His Eminence with a "Lord's Supper" picture frame and card signed by the Youth members. Archbishop Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan was very happy with the spiritual gift and the visit of the Youth to his home.

أوكين قبلان لتقديم التهاني بمناسبة عيدي الميلاد المجيد ورأس السنة
الجديدة. ولقد رحّب نيافته بأولاده الروحيين مشجعاً أياهم على التمسك
بكنيستهم والمثابرة بنشاطٍ في كل المجالات الكنسية بما يعود بالخير
والتقدم للكنيسة الفتية، ثم تحاورت الشبيبة مع راعيها عن معاني إصطلاحات
دينية مستعملة في المجتمع الكنسي، فشرح لهم نيافته بصدرٍ رَحِب كعادته
وبإبتسامته المعهودة كل معاني تلك الاصطلاحات حاثاً إياهم بوداعته
المعروفة على العمل بكل جهدٍ للالتحام بروحانية الكنيسة.
لقد فَرِحَ هؤلاء الشبيبة بهذه الزيارة البنوية ووعدوا نيافته بأن يكموا
مشوارهم الروحي حسب وصاياه الكريمة وتوجيهاته الابوية واعدين التواصل
المستمر مع نيافته لخير الكنيسة ومجدها.
