St. Ephraim Cathedral 2010 last Events

Christmas Party
On December 10, 2010, the Sunday school program and the scout program of Saint Ephraim Syriac Orthodox Church hosted the annual Christmas party. The Children and Families of saint Ephraim united together to celebrate. Most of the families were able to attend. Food was served, music and played, games and competition took place, and most importantly, everyone left smiling.

Santa Visit
On December 19, 2010, Santa came to visit Saint Ephraim. It was very joyful to see the smiles on the kids as they took pictures with Santa. The event was set up by the Sunday school program. We thank everyone else who helped make the event run smoothly. We thank the board for the presents. And we thank Mr. Tarek Karam for being our Santa again this year.

Christmas Eve
On December 24, 2010, all the families of Saint Ephraim Syriac Church came together for the Christmas Eve mass. We celebrated the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ, with songs and prayers. The Sunday School program performed two songs at the end of mass. They performed Halel Halel and Silent night; Our church could not have been more proud.

Nursing Home visit
On December 27, 2010, The Sunday school Program of Saint Ephraim hosted their final event of the year. As the New Year approached there isn’t a better way than to start if off early than by being kind to other. The Sunday school program hosted their annual nursing home visit. The kids brought joy to the nursing home by making crafts, writing Christmas cards, and singing Christmas songs to the elderly. We always encourage kindness at our church and to see the kids participate is wonderful.
