2nd Suryoyo Folklore Party
On Sunday, May 2nd, the 2nd Sunday School Suryoyo Folklore Party was presented by students from St. Ephraim and St. Mary's. The joyful evening was held at Anoush Banquet Hall in Glendale.
His Eminence Archbishop Mor C. Eugene Kaplan, Rev. Fr. George Touma, Rev. Fr. Louis Yacoub, Rev. Fr. Peter Rouboz, and Rev. Fr. John Saif were led into the hall with a procession of the students waving Suryoyo flags and the chanting of "To Bashlom." There were 300 faithful in attendance to watch the students recite speeches, prayers, and the beautiful folklore show the 30 students performed.

It was a fun evening of dance with the great entertainer Bashar Yuhanon and keyboardist Robert Moussa who sang in Syriac, Arabic, and Turkish.

We thank everyone who attended and all those who helped with the organization of the event.
