St. Thomas Church
celebrating its consecrating

“LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells.” (Psalm 26:8)

By the Grace of God and Love of Our Lord Jesus Christ, St. Thomas the Apostle Syriac Orthodox Church has acquired a building of its own as a place of worship.

(Donated by the faithful Mr. Emad and Mrs. Alia Hoady in memory of their son the late David Hoady)

His Eminence Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan, Metropolitan Patriarchal Vicar of the Western USA and His Eminence Mor Gregorios Saliba Shamoun Metropolitan of Mosul, Iraq, will celebrate the Divine Liturgy on Sunday June 20th 2010, at 12:00 noon, at the new worship place, located at:
       1921 Las Plumas Ave, San Jose, CA 95133

Their Eminences will dedicate and consecrate the building as St. Thomas the Apostle Syriac Orthodox Church.

Our Church is honored to invite you to share with its members this spiritual and joyful event.

The Western Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch, providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the Syriac Orthodox community, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization comprised of 10 churches and parishes in 17 western states. It was established in 1952 as the Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church encompassing the entire United States and Canada. In November 1995 by the Holy Synod, the Western Archdiocese was formed to exclusively serve the 17 states of the western half United States.
