Funeral service of His Eminence Mor Gabriel DahhoJuly,23 2022We have received from the patriarchate the information on the funeral schedule of His Eminence Mor Gabriel Dahho as follows:
On Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 11 am, the Holy Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the church of Mor Markose Monastery in Jerusalem in the presence of the body of the late Mor Gabriel Dahho.
At 1 pm, the first funeral services will also be prayed at the same church.
Early morning on Monday, July 25, the body will be transported from Jerusalem to Amman, Jordan, where it is expected to arrive at Mor Aphrem Church in Amman at 10 am. A short service of the funeral will be prayed. Then the body will be transported to Syria, where it is expected to arrive at Mor Aphrem Monastery in Maarat Saydnaya. The final service of the funeral, as well as the burial, will be done at 5 pm in the monastery.
We pray together for the rest of the soul of the late Archbishop Mor Gabriel Dahho, of blessed memory.
