 St. Peter Church - Festivities for New Sunday School Program Year
On Sunday, September 11th many families and parishioners enjoyed an afternoon where the children were the spotlight of the day's events. It was the mark of a new Program Year for the Sunday School and more than 40 kids attended the opening day. During the Liturgy, 4 students -- George Arik, Tiffany Peltekci, Valerie Samaan, and Selena Murad spoke about the importance of church and learning about God. Tyler Peltekci and Dominic Allaf also held an American flag with a special prayer recited by Selena Murad to honor all those who died that tragic day on 9/11.
Following the Liturgy, everyone was invited to lunch at St. Peter Church (on Gladstone Street) as children enjoyed a jumper and waterslide. Everyone had an enjoyable time socializing, eating, and watching their kids. It was a fun-filled afternoon to start a new Program Year and gather everyone in God's house.

جلندورا
في 11 ايلول 2011 احتفلت عدة عائلات وابناء الكنيسة باطفال الرعية
بمناسبة بدء برنامجهم للسنة الجديدة للمدرسة الاحدية حيث حضره زهاء
اربعين طفلا. ولقد تحدث اربعة اطفال خلال القداس وهم: جورج اريك، تيفاني
بالتقجي، فاليري سمعان و سالينا مراد الذين تحدثوا على اهمية الكنيسة
والتوجيه الديني. ولقد حمل كل من تيلر بلتكجي و دامينيك علاف علمين
امريكيين بمرافقة صلاة خاصة قدمتها الطفلة سالينا مراد لتكريم الشهداء
الذين ماتوا في 11 ايلول.
بعد القداس دعي جميع المؤمنين للاشتراك في طعام الغداء على ارض الكنيسة
الجديدة حيث هيئت ادارة الكنيسة مختلف الالعاب للاطفال. ولقد قضى الجميع
كبارا وصغارا اوقاتا ممتعة في باحة الكنيسة.
